This is an original Fuel Tank and Sending Unit for:
1968 Ford Mustang, Shelby GT350 and GT500
The sending unit is C8ZF-9275-A, which indicates this is the 20 gallon fuel tank and the sending unit does not support the low fuel level warning. We have not tested the sending unit. This listing also includes the Fuel Tank Filler Neck, clamps and rubber attachment. The rubber is cracked, so not much use unless someone can perform magic on rubber.
We understand this fuel tank will work on 1964 1965 1966 1967 1968 FOrd Mustangs and Shelbys, but we think this one came from a Shelby that was restored and upgraded by Shelby American as it came to us from a former employee and friend of the late Carroll Shelby.
Decent previously used condition from a southwest US car. Surface rust on the outside, minimal rust on the inside. Some dents on the outside. Good for driver or survivor. Exceptional candidate for a show car restoration. A previous owner has removed and patch the drain, but this could possibly be restored.
Please note NOS parts can be very old and have some rust, dust and possibly some spider webs - We clean all this off for the most part but some may still be on the part when you receive it.
