This listing is for a Kinoptik APO Apochromat 50mm F2 in Eclair CM3 Mount.
This lens is in good condition given its age, however, there are some minor flaws. Internally, there is a reasonable amount of dust present which should not affect image quality unless shooting at f11 or f16. The front element has some minor scuffs (which appear to simply be wear markings in the lens coating). These marks are very minor and are unlikely to affect image quality in any way and at any aperture.
The external barrel is in good shape with only some scuffs in the paint as shown in pictures. Aperture turns smoothly. Focusing helicoid moves freely although the movement is not smooth like a freshly oiled lens (which should have no effect on it's practical use).
Included with this lens is a custom protective case.
The case has two lids - one is a solid lid, The other is a two sided piece with a grid on one end so that desiccant can be included to protect the unit from moisture.
