Vtg Antenna Tripod MT-2459/URM-85 PRD Electronics RFI Radio Interference
This is a Rare and Hard to find Antenna from a US Army AN/URM-85 Radio Interference Measuring Set.
The base section has three wooden legs which can be extended from 44-1/2 inches to 58-1/2 inches. Three telescoping cylindrical masts, mounted to the center of the MT-2459/URM-85, are used to raise the dipole antenna (except for AT-1030/URM-85) to a maximum height of approximately 14 feet. When operating with the other types of antennas, such as Antenna AT-1030/URM- 85, or the loop, vertical, or discone (broadband) antenna, only the lowest mast is used.
Previously used condition with scuffs, scratches and grime. One of the thumb screws is broken and needs to be extracted.
